Each and every morning at 7:15, members of the JME-TV News Crew begin production of our daily newscast. STLP students from 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades serve as anchors, audio technicians, switchers, floor directors, video editors, office managers, meteorologists and videographers. Students also come in throughout the day as time permits (recess, reward time, etc.) and after school to work on JME-TV and other special video projects. The really cool part is, students teach students how to shoot, capture and edit video! And they are terrific teachers! We have competed in the STLP State Competition for the past two years at Heritage Hall! Students worked hard to make sure our JME-TV presentation was one of the best in the state! Want to see the terrific trophies they won for Julius Marks? The News Crew changes monthly so all 5th graders get a chance to be a part of an award winning news team! Our students are the greatest and keep getting better each and every day. Check us out!
